Historical Highlights 105

I don’t have many historical highlights for you today, but I think you’ll find them thought-provoking.

“Slave’s daughter who helped open the African American Museum dies at 100”

The United States is not the only country currently debating its historical monuments.

Here’s a look at Alberta’s one-room school houses. (Makes me think of Anne of Green Gables.)

These “Nazi hunters” scour archives around the world. “Their goal is to find the last living Nazis who have yet to be indicted and might still be able to stand trial.” Fascinating read.

Finally, “A Very Quick History of the Advancement of Women in Sports”

Enjoy the long weekend!
