5 Things I Learned in July

  1. At my sister-in-law’s house I learned about a new plant I would like to get, a Goldfish Plant. Even though it wasn’t blooming it had lovely glossy dark leaves.

2. Sleepover in French is “une pyjamade” (or “une soirĂ©e pyjama”).

3. I swear I have not been living under a rock, but I did not know there were so many types of Covid tests. (The Canadian government travel guidelines lists 19 different molecular tests.)

4. I forgot to mention this in Monday’s postBirgit’s Cafe in downtown Owen Sound makes all their own bread and pastries, including croissants and puff pastry. I had a fabulous sandwich on their patio with a friend last month.

5. Have you seen these hyperrealistic dolphin robots?!
