Historical Highlights 145

My parents arrived yesterday for a short visit, so we’re off to explore and picnic today. Meanwhile here are some archives-related articles as your historical highlights for the week. Enjoy.

“Servicemembers mark 74th anniversary of D-Day landings in lead-up to next year’s big event”

“Ira Berlin, transformative historian of slavery in America, dies at 77”

“This Black Newspaper Archive Is Bringing All Of Its Records On Black History Online, For Free”

“How Digital Archives Delete the Human Experience”

Little Women at 150″

“UNBC archivist lands major grant”

That’s all for this week!
